Beautiful Legs and Sclerotherapy
WARNING
If you care about your legs you should think twice before making a decision about a treatment. After Sclerotherapy your veins may be permanently damaged and they will never be the same.
Sclerotherapy is completely non physiological. It does not repair veins, it damages them and the damage is long lasting and sometimes permanent.
The Sclerotherapy Industry is driven by the eternal desire of women to have beautiful legs. They do not understand what will be the final outcome of sclerotherapy and even if they know they are prepared to undergo the possible risk of mutilation for a short term reward.

The patient invariably comes back to the Sclerotherapists after different intervals of time complaining about appearance of the new veins. Sclerotherapists have nothing else to offer but more injections which compound an already deplorable situation. Sometimes, but not always, the patient accepts this remedy which results in further damage the venous system.
Ten minutes of Sclerotherapy can result in lifelong misery.

Sometimes after several sessions of sclerotherapy patients notice that something is wrong with them. They do not understand exactly the nature of the problem but they start to suspect that it might be something to do with the sclerotherapy and, if their instinct of self preservation is strong enough, they refuse further treatment. Frequently they come to my clinic asking for help. On the first examination when looking at the legs it is apparent that they were treated before by sclerotherapy. New veins and spider veins have a completely irregular pattern and in the majority of cases are untreatable.
Removal of varicose veins treated formerly by Sclerotherapy is extremely difficult and sometimes the only solution is to wear surgical compressions stockings.
